"I am honored and deeply grateful to be named as a Distinguished Clinician at Mayo Clinic in 2025. That this recognition comes from my colleagues and friends makes it all the more meaningful. I am appreciative of those who nominated me for this accolade and of the Officers and Councilors, who I am sure had a difficult time choosing from the fertile field of candidates who are each more than deserving. It is a blessing to practice at a place where I am challenged, inspired, supported and educated every day by my patients, my peers, residents and medical students. I came to Mayo Clinic to be immersed in the things I love about Medicine. I found those things and more through the people who work at Mayo Clinic and the unique practice enviornment they have created , where collaboration and clinical excellence are the standard.
